Over the years Artificial Intelligence has developed at an astronomical rate, impacting various aspects of our lives. From using AI to collect information from the internet, as a tool to boost productivity, or even as a way to create artificially generated images, Artificial Intelligence has already cemented itself as a widespread technological innovation. Our Relationship with A.I.
We all know what A.I is and it knows who we are, but what exactly are we to each other?
An excerpt detailing Chatgpt's opinion on this relationship ->
What can we co-create?
With the power of human ingenuity and A.I., almost anything is possible. Take a look at some examples below:
Maybe a three-legged shark wearing sneakers.
Or maybe even an ad for a popular soft drink
Or an award winning picture
The popular online meme, Tralalero Tralala, consists of a three legged shark wearing nike sneakers, and is an image generated using A.I.
"Théâtre D’opéra Spatial" is an image created by Jason M. Allen using the A.I. Midjourney, and won an award at the Colorado State Fair’s annual art competition.
"Holidays Are Coming" is an A.I. generated Coca-Cola ad made using the DALL-E A.I.
“The real question is, when will we draft an artificial intelligence bill of rights? What will that consist of? And who will get to decide that?” —Gray Scott
The Future of A.I.
Utopia...
... or dystopia
While A.I. has its benefits,
it has it's fair share of flaws.
Although A.I. brings great potential to the world's economy,
it takes almost as much through enormous electricity and water consumption.
And although A.I. is capable of creating visuals and images,
art made by A.I. often lacks depth and meaning, and can even lead to the devalueing of artists.
Given these conditions, it is imperative that we find a balance in order to use A.I. effectively, not ignoring it completely, but not developing an over relience on it

A pact with A.I.: During this term, I will likely use A.I. as an assistant to my work, getting it to help me generate concepts and ideas for my work. However, I will still be the one doing a large majority of the labor, as I will try to avoid over reliance on A.I. for things such as creative decisions and visual creation.
A.I. is here, and with it, the line between what is real and what is not starts to become blurred
